Motorways of the Sea Final Seminar

Puertos del Estado organised the final WEST-MOS Trans-European Networks (TEN) seminar, last 26th June 2008, in Madrid.

The seminar was developed in order to:

  • Present final market analysis results collected by the WEST-MOS project. One aspect of this was presented: demand analysis and predictions from a national point of view, taking into account quality criteria requirements and short/medium term transport and economic scenarios. The seminar looked at practical case studies on local market analysis of different possible maritime lines between specific ports.
  • Set out the unique vision of Motorways of the Sea as the maritime transport between short/middle range distances for professionals.
